Position Summary

FourPoint People is hiring a Countertop Installer / Fabricator for a team in Brentwood, TN. You will cut, finish, and install quartz, granite, laminate, and solid surface countertops, and your time will be split between the shop and customer job sites.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and proud of clean, finished work. Countertop or stone experience is a plus. We will also train dependable people who have worked in other hands-on trades.

Responsibilities

Read job orders, drawings, and measurements to fabricate each piece accurately
Cut, shape, edge, and polish countertop materials to exact specifications
Operate shop equipment, power tools, and hand tools safely
Set up tools, materials, and work areas at the start of each shift
Inspect work for quality and accuracy before it leaves the shop
Load, transport, and handle finished pieces carefully to prevent damage
Install countertops at residential and commercial sites, including leveling, seaming, sealing, and final cleanup
Operate a forklift or other material handling equipment as needed
Keep the shop and job sites clean, organized, and safe
Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines
Work with supervisors and crew members to meet production schedules and client deadlines
Report equipment problems, material defects, or quality concerns to management

Qualifications

Experience in fabrication, construction, cabinetry, flooring, tile, or a related trade
Countertop or stone fabrication experience preferred
Skilled with power tools, hand tools, tape measures, levels, and calipers
Good basic math skills, including measurements and fractions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Forklift certification is a plus
High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school training is a plus

The ideal candidate is dependable, on time, and careful with both the product and the customer's home. We want someone who works well alone and with a crew and who wants to grow in a skilled trade.

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
